As budget season continues in Trenton, I wanted to provide you with another update on the school funding issue from your prior e-mail to me. Frankly put, Governor Murphy’s education funding proposal is a disaster for our students, families, and schools. I am continuing to fight for every last penny that our districts deserve.

Assemblyman Clifton and I recently released an update on school funding, and the impact it is having right now on school budgets. You can read a copy of it here.

Throughout this process, I am working with other legislators in a bipartisan manner to begin reforming the current school funding disaster—our students and taxpayers deserve nothing less.

As developments occur, I will report back to you.
