I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jacqueline Thompson, the wife of Senator Sam Thompson. Mrs. Thompson led a storied life as an active citizen, public servant, wife, and, most importantly, mother of four. 

I give my sincere condolences to my colleague, Senator Thompson, and to their family and close friends.
